Thankfully, my cousin Marlene and my Aunt Zoila went to Aguadilla to check out Hotel Cielo Mar. Words like "cheap" and "one star hotel" are not things you want people to say when describing your possible wedding venue. So, we are back to square one and waiting on some quotes to roll in. It's frustrating but less frustrating then it would be had we had no idea what this place was like until we showed up on the island 5 days before our wedding.
A few of the places we liked can't accommodate us on our date, which is really disappointing. I would HATE to change the date (since it is my late grandfather's birthday), but would concede for a sunset wedding affair turned into a lunch or breakfast affair instead. Anyhow...we'll see...
And now for some bridesmaid drama -_-
...My dumb sister...--> Just seriously. Someone call her, tell her to stfu, grow up and be a good sister. That's all.
And by September, I will probably have NO bridesmaids who live near me. :-( Very sad about that. Not that it really matters since the wedding is so far away, but, it would have been nice to just hang out, talk wedding crap, watch a bad movie and veg-out before the big day for a few months (not consecutively). While I'm SO happy that there are bigger better things to do in life, I selfishly wish I was closer to family and my bestest friends for forever. I also am feeling restless in DC after 4 years and think it's time for a change of scenery soon.
Again...we'll see...

You are so so lucky to have had someone there to check things out. Just a small bump in the road, I'm positive you'll find something sooo much better! Maybe you and I should go down there for a week to check places out ;-)

Dude...I know. JOBS!!!!!! If we only had jobs. Oh yeah and by the way a baby mama who moved closer too haha!
My step mom and I are going to PR in December, so that should be fun. :-)
