I have never really been one to like floral centerpieces. From my years as a wedding planner, I really think all floral centerpieces look exactly the same...and then they all die. What a waste of money and time! After hunting around on Etsy I found this awesome idea--pinwheels! Who would have thunk it? Such a cute, cool, yet sophisticated twist, which is exactly the vibe we are going for.Prior to this, I was all bout the peacocks.
I really like the color scheme; I like the peacock feathers in my hair idea; they're pretty inexpensive and cool. But, it's up-in-the-air as to whether or not peacock feathers are good or bad luck (and frankly, who wants to take that chance?) and actually the idea is getting kind of overdone as far as weddings go--plus, the groom actually prefers the pinwheels idea. Feeling just lucky that he has an opinion at all about them makes me want to go with that too! :-) So, I contacted the amazing pinwheel seller and she quoted me an outstanding price!!!
Now, I just need to get Victoria to find us a venue (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and we can actually buy them!
What do you think?

Love, Love, LOVE them!!! I was sold on the peacock feathers, but after you showed me the pinwheels, the peacock feathers weren't as impressive. Great find! Major plus that Steve likes them as well!! Woohoo wedding planning!!!
And SUPER cheap!!!!! For 50 of them plus shipping it will be $135!!! We'll do 8 on each table, so we'll need more like 80, but SERIOUSLY?!?! PLUS, people can take them home as favors :-) WINNING!!!!!!!!!!
