Hi...oh, and an update!

I figured I had better post something since we sent our Save-the-Date cards this weekend and I might have some new visitors shortly. So....hi :-)

Anyway, we've finally booked our wedding venue!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Courtyard by Mariott Isla Verde

*oooooo....ahhhhhhh*

I love it. Steve loves it. We both are totally in love with it and hope you will be too...

...even if you won't be joining us, we will be sure to take loads and loads of pictures and will have little mini-gatherings when we are able upon our return. This brings me to my next point...

We realize this destination wedding is not something many of you anticipated. We both understand that these are hard economic times and some of you won't be able to come and celebrate with us. Please, please believe us when we say: IT'S OK! Really. It is. We're not moving a million miles away and while we of course want as many people as possible to share in our special day with us, we understand that it just may not be possible. So please, do not feel guilty or bad or feel that you have to just magically make funds and time appear that you don't have. We understand and there are NO hard feelings. We love you!

In the same vein, we also hope that our many friends and loved ones understand if they did not receive a save-the-date or invitation. While we anticipate a good number of people not being able to attend, Steve and I are paying for the majority of this wedding (with AMAZING support from my mom and dad so far) and so we really want to be able to do things on our own and without any outside funding. In order to do that, we had to make sure we kept our guest list small. I'm sure most of you know this already, but we do have such a huge group of awesome friends and we didn't want anyone to feel left out or unloved because seriously--we could not have gotten through the past 3 years without such an amazing support system!

So, enough of that! Let's get on to how cute Samantha looks in her bridesmaid dress! :-) hahaha This is NOT the color, but she just is so cute and I love her so much!
